The V2 Changes
-New ESC Castle creations 160HV great logging features
-Special Helix E propeller 1.25m
-High efficiency timing pulley and belt
-12s 32ah turnigy battery
-modified power monitor mounted on the hand throttle, indicates voltage, amps and amp hours used.
The V2 frame uses off the shelf extruded aluminium angle and tube, these are bolted and welded together.
The top frame supporting the ring can is designed to fold away to reduce the size for transport. The protection ring is made from fiber glass rod.
On the V2 frame i am using a timing belt and pulley
The V2 also uses a brand new propeller from Helix with a 1.25m diameter and ultra thin E profile
The completed frame uses tubular webbing to hold together the fiber glass strutts
8 x Turnigy 8000mah 6s batteries to make 12s 32ah
I made a strong fabric bag for all the batteries to sit in, the cell logs are located on the lid and provide battery data
